Tom Marshman’s one man show Kings X remix is his comment on the 1980’s and by using a group of characters , he shares their stories we get an insight into a decade where his very sincere comments on the political situation. Aids awareness, visiting the local pub and existing in Kings X offers a valuable lesson in the art of self worth. In places this does come across as a slight self indulgent monologue but in others he raises a smile where comedy tinged with tragedy gets his view across. This is a history lesson here Marshman’s  moody and extremely atmospheric delivery  also acts as an eye opener  to a decade that has fond memories for some and painful ones for others
3 stars runs to the 27th May, Camden People’s Theatre, 58-60 Hampstead Road , NW12PY www.cptheatre.co.uk
